Mu Hua, Shang Yixin, Shi Jiayun, Wang Guangle, Xie Molin, and Yan Bing's Works are now Participating in X Museum's Triennial Exhibition "Reaching the Spirit: Emotion, Form, and Concept in Painting".

The exhibition adopts a dual-curator structure, with artist Wang Guangle taking the lead in selecting the works on view and You Yang providing the exhibition's conceptual framework.

"Reaching the Spirit: Emotion, Form, and Concept in Painting seeks to respond to ongoing questions and discussions surrounding painting in contemporary visual culture, including its role as a vehicle for information, its possibilities as a medium, and the experiences it offers viewers. As one of the oldest forms of visual language based on a two-dimensional material surface, painting has, across different periods and geographical contexts, developed and reflected a diverse and evolving range of theoretical approaches. These approaches have been shaped, in various ways, by the technological conditions, sociocultural environments, and theoretical developments in related disciplines of their respective times."
