Zhi Wei’s Works are now Participating in Inside-out Art Museum’s Exhibition “Setting the Tone of the Exhibition (outside-in)””

2026. 03. 14-2026. 06. 21

Zhi Wei's work is currently on view in the group exhibition "Setting the Tone of the Exhibition (ouside-in)" at the Inside-Out Art Museum, curated by Jacob Fabricius. The exhibition "brings together works by thirty international artists, employing a playful curatorial approach to continue exploring how curators and artists mobilize emotions and atmospheres within space, navigate the complexities of exhibition-making under multiple constraints, and examine how the juxtaposition of works and display methods transforms the spatial atmosphere and viewing experience.

"The exhibition attempts to bring a cacophony of mashed observations from the outside into the museum space; it attempts to present an overload of visual impressions; it tries to make a 3D sketch mimicking social media feeds. In short: it attempts to show ways of setting the tone within visual culture. [...] Ideally the exhibition will evoke the experience of an absurd yet poetic (somewhat chaotic; psychedelic) playhouse, where the overload of the image-tsunami outside has been injected into our veins."

— Jacob Fabricius, "Setting the Tone of the Exhibition (ouside-in)"
