As the first exhibition of The Shanghai TANK Art Center, "Under Construction" is an exhibition aims to exploring the establishment and development of cultural memories. The exhibition examines the long-term practices of more than a dozen of the most leading contemporary Chinese artists, focusing on the experimental nature of their systems of creation by exhibiting works that are unknown, unfinished or radically different from their representative creations.


Among them, Hu Xiaoyuan will exhibit a series of works, including "Mine." In 2004, the artist used painting to record his daily life in the Braille Four Gospels.
