Ma Qiusha video works Rainbow will attend the Korea CHANGWON SCULPTURE BIENNALE shows the scenery of the young mind. In particular, the exhibition, from South Korea the Alternative Space Loop guest curator Jungah Lee tried to exhibit the multi-level and uncertain inner response about the true nature of the modern youth, study how to use language, action, expression or imagine using present aesthetics in the video. This exhibition hints at the transition of young experiences in compromise and struggle with the mature world, traces of emotional reactions and corrections. At the same time, it raises questions about what the separation between "maturity" and "immaturity" means, and whether "immaturity" and "maturity" are really in conflict, making us question the absolute value of known maturity. As Witold Gombrowicz explains, we should ask ourselves whether immaturity (inferiority, imperfection, lack of value and naivety) is actually closer to our humanity. Even though these issues may not directly confront or challenge established societies, or offer any grand second option to the status quo, they challenge our preconceived understanding that growth is the natural process of life and the only solution to youth chaos and wandering. It may also enable us to re-examine the range of maturity, normality and standards and, as the beginning of a new imagination, to distance ourselves from the dominant language of daily life, which is trapped in self-oppression.
