Ma Qiusha is attending the exhibition "An Archaeology of Feminine Time" at the Guangdong Times Art Museum. The self-naming of Nepenthe suggests a feminine way of dealing with internal conflict: sadness from the outside can only be absorbed by the subjective will to forget. The exhibition attempts to use women's time to ask questions: If women's time is relative, what power structure is shaping this relativity? How can we use the timeline of women's time to reorganize the experiences and materials we have and understand the complexities and entanglements in the complex relationships and offerings of reality? Extract through the "family", exhibition of works of this paper discusses the women and their physical environment and the surrounding the desire, intimacy, and violence, but also responded to the traditional concept of legacy in the history and the present situation of new liberalism, and the continuous development of technology, especially the biological technology to the traditional concept of women and related challenges.
Among them, Ma Qiusha exhibited two "the story of space" series work and one "fog" series work. The "Story of Space" series unfolds various enclosed internal Spaces into a hexahedron (four walls, ceiling and floor), planing three-dimensional space. Each side consists of several photographs of the front of the object in focus, as if activating a giant scanner to record everything in space. And all this "frontal presence" is a collection of scatter perspectives, the privacy of closed Spaces is maximally exposed, all contents are flattened, they will never exist in the same real world.
