Yang Xinguang is attending the architectural art exhibition "Reconstruction Utopia" , which opens in Putian Art Museum on Nov 22, 2019. This is the second time that the exhibition of "Reconstruction Utopia" has been held after Shenzhen, Chengdu and Shanghai. The number of works exhibited and the breadth of creative fields have increased, and a number of architects and artists have been added. This is another practice of the new concept of "Reconstruction Utopia" exhibition. With "Utopia" as the clue, the exhibition reorganizes the imaginative context of artists, pointing directly to the present and future generations, and cross-interprets and deeply analyzes many fields with a new "ontological" thinking. The exhibition will be open to the public free of charge until February 23, 2020.

Among them, Yang Xinguang presented his works Mountains (2018) and Shining Metallic Skin No.2 (2018). "The Hills" is a collection of small concrete and concrete hills. The artist focuses on the symbiotic relationship between organic and synthetic materials, and in this case, cement concrete, a typical urban material, is shaped into hills, showing the shape of the sand, water and gravel that make up the mountains. Shiny Metallic Skin No.2, on the other hand, grinds the surface of stainless steel to create a shiny finish. Free electrons within the metal are constantly moving and approaching the surface. In this skin-warming effect, electrons constantly absorb and reflect light for energy, producing what is known as metallic luster. The metal "skin" and the leather whip meet, form a layer of false connection, to achieve a sensory understanding and psychological function of people in order to achieve a certain real impression.
